I like the fantasy. I did not have a HEA but I like reading about it. It gives me hope. And erotic Romance, well, nothing like living vicariously. It is my escape for the real world.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on both those counts pansypetal.
DeleteGood luck on the contest.
I like being able to depend on a HEA...unlike in real life. I really DON'T want to spend several hours of my life falling in love with characters and be depressed about their situation at the end of the book! Thank you so much for having an entry that does not exclude us non-FB and non-Twitter folks!
ReplyDeleteThank Cynnara Tregarth, ELF, she's the one coordinating all of this. And I agree, I like an HEA especially if I've invested time in characters' struggles.
DeleteGood luck on the contest!
I love being a voyeur and living vicariously through the characters in books.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Becki. I think living vicariously through the characters is not only the reason why I lover books, but the reason I love writing.
DeleteI like seeing unique characters get together, and the infinite permutations of getting to an HEA!
ReplyDeletevitajex(at)aol(Dot)com
very true. there are infinite ways to have a happy ending and I love exploring them...it all depends on the characters. Thank you for sharing.
DeleteI love when the characters have a lot of conflict.
ReplyDeletedebby236 at gmail dot com
Conflict is always good for growth, but which do you like better, Debby...internal or external conflict?
DeleteI like the escape, the different characters and locations, and the HEA.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kaisquared for participating. I have to agree, the escape has always done it for me as well. Not to mention the characters, location and MUST have an HEA or at least HFN.
DeleteHave a great weekend.
I like to read about the romance, sexy scenes and HEA's. There has to be an HEA or cliff hanger leading to the HEA.
ReplyDeleteI hear you Julie! If there's a cliff hanger, it better lead to an HEA eventually.
DeleteAfter graduating from college I didn't pick up a book until about a year and a half ago (due mostly to a major injury/illness). Now it's fun to live vicariously through the words of others! (without rotting my brain like watching TV!)
ReplyDeleteI will try most anything but the story has to reach me if I can't immerse myself in it I will probably read it put it down and never speak of it again
ReplyDeleteWhat I enjoy about reading erotic romances is that it not only stimulates my body, but my mind as well. Reading it together is something my Fiance' and I share as a couple, so it is also a boost in the sex department for us! ;)
ReplyDeleteI like reading romance because I don't have it in my own life, so it's kind of like living vicariously :) And of course most of those situations wouldn't ever happen anyways, so it takes me away to another place where I get lost and forget my troubles! :D
ReplyDeleteI can read pretty much everything as long as the story is interesting for me and the characters are likable. I mostly read romance, sci-fi and thrillers. The first one is when I need to relax and my brain is so tired that I cannot really focus on something very complicated and the other two are for the rest of the time :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway! :)

ReplyDeleteI love the stories about love, romance, and, of course, erotica. :)
ReplyDeleteI read romance to add some positivity to my life; a HEA can definitely lift my spirits! It's a nice dose of positivity! I also enjoy reading different ways characters interact.
ReplyDeleteI love HEA! #anescapistreaderhere
ReplyDeleteI like to read romance books!
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking part in this great giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteI have a very stressful life and love the escapism books provide. There isn't always time to pamper myself appropriately, but I find a good romance/HEA can make me feel like I've had an expensive spa day - at a fraction of the price! The erotic reads are great when I really want some lovey time with Hubby, but have had a craptacular day before coming home. Just something to reset my head. as it were. :D
ReplyDeleteLove the background, books, one of my favorite things!
ReplyDeleteI like reading about hope and a HEA. In the reality of the real world I want to escape into a world of possibilities.
ReplyDeleteVery organized website, looking forward to the recent giveaway! Take care! :D
