Have to admit, I love to cook...desserts mostly, but I tend not to eat my own cookies (unless they're my oatmeal raisin cookies)
So, here you go, my favorite chocolate chip cookies recipe
Preheat oven 375 degrees
1 12 oz bag chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
2 1/2 c. flour (try whole grain/wheat unbleached to be healthy)
3/4 c firmly packed brown sugar (I prefer dark brown not light)
3/4 c granulated sugar
1 c softened butter or margarine (I prefer unsalted butter)
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon cinnamon
In medium bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Set aside
In large mixing bowl, cream butter/margarine and sugars until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing until just blended, add vanilla. Carefully add dry mixture to creamed sugar until well-blended. Mix in chocolate chips.
Drop in teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake 10-15 minutes until golden brown (depending on whether you like crunchy or chewy...baking time will vary)
This is a particularly yummy recipe. I always made these for my students when they had basketball or volleyball games as a reward for doing their best.
Enjoy

Unfair Advantage is Available Again
It's Back!
In January, when the rights reverted back to me on Unfair Advantage, book one of the Diablo Blanco Club series, the book was removed from sale at all the various sites on the web.
Anyway, I've gone through the book, fixed a few typo and not really changed anything significantly. The only new material is the epilogue, which, if you already have the book, you can download a free pdf copy of the epilogue from my website. www.authorqwilliarain.com
Please feel free to let me know what you think of the story and the epilogue.
Have a great day!

The Neighbor's Are Back!!
After nearly four months without, I have finally gone through and updated Meeting A Neighbor's Needs. I had originally intended to write it in 3rd person, but as I went through it, I liked the 1st person perspective, I just added a few bits from George's perspective.
A Neighbor's Ultimatum didn't need much work, other than formatting and such, so there are no changes in that story.
And last, but not least, I put all three books (Meeting A Neighbor's Needs, A Neighbor's Ultimatum, and Teach Me, Master) into one big Neighbor's volume! Now people can read all three books in one spot!
I just finished uploading them to Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and ARe (All Romance eBooks). Only ARe has them available for purchase.
Now, I'm off to chat with Chelsea before I dig in to fix a few issues with Unfair Advantage. Goal is to have Mattie & Bryce's story up and selling again by the 15th (with a new epilogue a few readers had asked for!)
Have a great day!!
